World Parkinson Day (WPD) is celebrated on April 11 of each year. April 11 was the birth day of James Parkinson an English Physician who describes and wrote about Parkinson for the 1st time.
For PPA-E, April 11,2014 was a special day. This April we successfully reached a highest number of people during the public awareness campaign. In April this year, PPA-E managed to conduct two big meetings.
The first meeting was held on April 1 the Association’s conference room. Only PD Patients and their care giver were invited to attend the meeting. More than 40 member PD Patients and their care givers were present. The aim of these meeting was to explain the idea and motivate members to “fight back”.
